Meet the committee that consists of six passionate members who are committed to the revitalisation of te reo Māori me ōna tikanga within rohe, motu and beyond. The committee is responsible for running the operational side of TAKROT, which includes supporting the kura that run classes, managing kaupapa in the rohe and secure funding and contracts that works toward our Mahere Rautaki. They are also responsible for managing the organisation's finances, coordinating with external partners, and ensuring that the organisation runs smoothly.

 

The committee meets regularly to discuss TAKROT's progress and to plan future events and initiatives to support their mission of promoting te reo Māori me ōna tikanga in the Tainui region. Their hard work and dedication have enabled TAKROT to become a vibrant and thriving community of Māori language learners and enthusiasts.
